The Team
If you would like to join a team of multi-disciplined scientists where you will get to contribute to fantastic research projects within:

Nuclear Metrology – Working as part of a team on projects relating to Nuclear Medicine, specifically projects related to Radiopharmaceuticals for cancer therapy or nuclear protection.

The role
We are looking for a laboratory technician who will provide experimental support across different projects including; preparation of materials, carrying out QC checks, record keeping, maintaining stocks, running routine analysis, instrument maintenance and calibration. The successful candidate will work with a team of highly skilled scientists to ensure the timely delivery of research objectives.

Qualifications Required • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience of working within a laboratory environment would be advantageous.
• A interest in science and research.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including science subjects are essential.
• Good numeracy, literacy, IT skills and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge or ISO standards would be beneficial but not essential.
