Job Description Baltic Publications is seeking to appoint an Editor/Publication Manager to be responsible for the provision and distribution of content across the Pathfinder International media portfolio.

The Pathfinder International media portfolio takes the form of:

- Magazine in both print and digital form
- Website
- Suppliers Directory
- e-newsletters
- Social media channels
- Awards event

A deep understanding of the resettlement process undertaken by Service Leavers of the UK Armed Forces is an essential requirement for this position.

Expert knowledge of Resettlement issues is required not only to inform Pathfinder Internationalís readership of Service Leavers but also to continually furnish

Pathfinder Internationalís advertising sales team with the facts and figures about the Resettlement industry which they need to convey to potential advertisers and sponsors.

The job will, primarily, be based in Baltic Publicationsí Gateshead offices but a significant amount of national travel will be required.

This is an extremely important role within the Pathfinder International team which influences enormously the overall commercial success of Pathfinder International. As such, the salary is enhanced by a profit share incentive.

While not directly responsible for generating revenue, the Editor/Publication Manager will be expected to play an active role in developing successful editorial and distribution strategies which will have a major influence on creating revenue-generating opportunities for the sales manager and his team.

Supported in the role by the Publisher, the Sales Manager, the Sales Team and a Digital Manager, the Editor/Publication Manager will be ultimately responsible, on a day-to-day basis, for all aspects of the Pathfinder International media portfolio other than the selling of advertising and sponsorships.

Initially, on-the-job training will be provided by the outgoing Editor, the Publisher and the Sales Manager. Eventually, the Editor/Publication Manager will work alongside the Sales Manager and report directly to the Publisher/Managing Director.

Salary: £28,000 + monthly profit share and optional workplace pension contribution. Realistic earning potential: £36,000+
