Pathfinder International - Ex Army Jobs, Civilian Careers and Armed Forces Resettlement in the UK Pathfinder magazine is dedicated to providing the very best information and opportunities for Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Pathfinder magazine has been distributed by the Ministry of Defence to personnel leaving the Armed Forces each and every month since 1991 and is a vital source of information for resettling servicemen and women. Hugely respected and highly valued by both the MoD and Service Leavers alike, Pathfinder’s role as a provider of careers advice and opportunities is a crucial part of the resettlement process. Each month Pathfinder works closely with lead industry and trade bodies to showcase careers in a wide range of sectors and provides Service Leavers with all the information they need in order to make informed choices about the civilian career path that is right for them. Pathfinder’s career features highlight the training or educational routes into each industry as well as profiling the typical job roles available. Civilian employers prize the skills, experience and qualities that Service personnel possess and consequently are extremely keen to market their job opportunities to this unique audience. The modern Armed Forces include skilled personnel across a range of specialties as diverse as engineering, logistics, IT, construction, administration, management, finance, healthcare, catering….the list goes on. Pathfinder magazine provides employers with access to these highly skilled personnel. Civilian training organisations, as well as universities and colleges promote their courses through the pages of Pathfinder because they appreciate that Service Leavers have the drive, the commitment and the financial wherewithal to augment the military skills and experience they have gained before entering the civilian employment market.
